Rural and urban Watersheds, river basin conservation, landscape restoration, management and development, is at the heart of SLANs approach to Ecosystem management and biodiversity. Both are mutually dependent and inextricably linked. The value of sustainable preservation and wise utilization of these systems is central to human livelihood. It is fair to say that ecosystems and biodiversity are the store houses and canvas of human history, heritage and culture.

                                                                               How we engage

Working with communities and stockholders to enlighten and help in the implementation of sustainable basin management, enhance green infrastructure and develop partnerships and collaborations on restoring the health of streams and rivers through Agro-forestry riparian buffers and smart wetland agricultural practices.
